During the past week I've spent an hour and a half on my phone per day, and it's really felt like a good amount. What have I been unto when I haven't been on my phone? I read a book, ran a lot, visited our summer cottage with my parents, brought back to life some dear relationships and connections, went on a two-hour long walk with a childhood friend, helped my bestfriedn stay woke on the airport till I fell asleep, and gathered all my courage to go face-to-face with something that has bothered me for years. Past days have also included movie nights, screaming laughter, talks that have lasted hours, long car drives, sunbathing, warm hugs and flea market tours. All in all, right now, n this moment, I'm feeling good. And that's all that matters. Really.
